Dear reader, if you thought the CoinDesk 20 Index was a rollercoaster, you’ve clearly never seen it try to parallel park. The index is currently trading at 2768.6, which is up 2.7% since Monday at 4 p.m. ET. For context, that’s like your morning coffee spiking from 80% to 82.7% strength-still weak, but technically an improvement.
Nineteen of 20 assets are trading higher. One asset? Taking a nap. Or perhaps it’s just confused by the whole “market” concept. We’re not judging.
Leaders: NEAR Protocol (+8.2%) and CRO (+7.6%), who clearly read the script before the bell rang. 🚀
Laggards: ICP (-0.6%) and UNI (+0.6%), because even 0.6% feels like a win if you’re a crypto asset. 😴
The CoinDesk 20 is a “broad-based index,” which is code for “we’re juggling 20 things at once, and somehow it’s all happening.” It’s traded on multiple platforms globally-because why let one region handle the chaos when you can share it?
