Kishor Nargundkar, that’s his name, lost a whopping ₹56.47 lakh in a Telegram-based scam that’d make your grandmother blush with embarrassment! 😂

According to the Times of India (they’re always on the case!), a smooth operator named Deepa lured poor Kishor into a group called ‘Conforge Finance.’ Sounds legit, right? WRONG! 🚨 First, they told him to invest small amounts-you know, just dip your toes in the crypto pool. But before he knew it, he was doing the financial backstroke, making 38 transactions between June 25 and September 8, totaling ₹56.47 lakh! 🤑💸

And get this-the scammers hit him with fake fees and penalties! A ₹10.65 lakh fine for not following trading rules? Pfft! And a ₹4 lakh tax for withdrawing profits? That’s richer than a Mel Brooks script! Even though his account showed a profit of ₹61 lakh, he couldn’t touch a rupee. The scammers demanded another ₹13 lakh to release the funds. That’s when the lightbulb went off-he’d been had! So, off he went to the Kutch East Cyber Crime police station, tail between his legs. 🐕

Now, the authorities are pointing fingers at Deepa, Anubhav Goyal, and Ashutosh Kumar, along with platforms like Conforge Finance and Coinbase. The Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita is on the case, and these scammers better start sweating! 💼⚖️
