Real-world assets and decentralized finance are becoming best buds. On Wednesday, August 20, Centrifuge officially launched decentralized RWA tokens on Aerodrome, one of the largest DEXs on Base (BASE). This move makes RWAs tradable and usable as collateral on DeFi platforms across EVM chains. 🤝💰

Decentralized RWAs, or deRWA, are a type of tokenized asset that can be fully integrated into DeFi. The first asset to join the deRWA party is deJAAA, a tokenized version of the Janus Henderson Anemoy AAA CLO Fund. It’s an actively managed ETF fund that invests in AAA-rated collateralized loan obligations. Think of it as the VIP lounge of financial assets. 🎩✨

deRWAs Available on Coinbase, OKX, and Bitget

The launch makes the deJAAA fund available to Coinbase’s DEX trading platform. Plus, users of OKX Wallet and Bitget Wallet can now trade deJAAA tokens through their respective DEX aggregators. In total, the fund will be accessible to around 200 million users, according to Centrifuge’s estimates. That’s more people than you can shake a stick at! 🤚💥
