But amidst this rosy picture, Craddock gave a nod to the lurking competition-imagine a race where the red flag won’t be waved by the official but delivered via encrypted email.

She urged the EU to “keep up the pace,” lest they be overtaken by faster innovators. The Ripple representative, in her wisdom, shared, “We’re so ecstatic about this opportunity here in Europe, it’s like watching a dumpster fire, except this time, we get to plant flowers in it.”
