So, here we are, 2026-Samson Mow, the CEO and founder of the ever-so-innovative JAN3 (a company dedicated to Bitcoin adoption, or “making crypto cool again”), is basking in the glory of what he considers his prophetic genius. Apparently, he predicted the rise of Bitcoin in 2026. And, by “predicted,” he means he threw a list of random guesses into the void and is now patting himself on the back for them coming true. First on the list? The world’s richest man, Elon Musk, falling in love with Bitcoin again. Yes, you heard it right, he’s “back in love,” like a rich, cryptic ex who just can’t let go of a digital currency he’s occasionally flirty with.

According to Mow, Elon Musk just made Bitcoin “sexy” again. How? By tweeting out the infamous “Bitcoin anime girl” image from 2018, which is apparently the Mona Lisa of crypto memes. Oh, and this time, Musk didn’t just post a static image; he animated it using the “Grok Imagine AI bot”-his pet project over at xAI, the tech company he runs when he’s not buying rockets or sending cars to space. As you can imagine, the internet went wild. I mean, who doesn’t love anime and an eccentric billionaire doing anime things with Bitcoin? The tweet was a subtle declaration of Musk’s undying affection for digital currency-though, if we’re being honest, he probably only tweeted it because he got bored of whatever rocket launch he was watching.

In case you were wondering, back in 2018, Musk posted this image along with the caption, “Wanna buy some Bitcoin?” In the most Elon Musk way possible, he declared his love for anime and a half-hearted interest in BTC. How romantic. And now, Mow is saying it’s all part of his master plan. According to his predictions (which, let’s be real, could have been written on a cocktail napkin), Musk’s return to Bitcoin was always on the horizon. “It’s happening,” Mow tweeted, probably while sipping a craft beer and texting his friends about how he nailed this one.

Let’s not forget that Musk has danced with Bitcoin before-back in 2021, Tesla briefly accepted Bitcoin as payment for its electric vehicles, like some kind of crypto-infused sales pitch. Musk even bought $1.5 billion worth of Bitcoin, which, I’m sure, was just another day in the life of a billionaire who can afford to make weird decisions on a whim. Fast forward to today, and most of that Bitcoin has been sold off. However, Tesla and SpaceX still hold some, which is probably enough to make you think that maybe-just maybe-Musk is still holding onto that warm, fuzzy Bitcoin feeling.

But here’s the kicker: Tesla stopped accepting BTC as payment because, apparently, Bitcoin mining was a bit too “environmentally unfriendly.” Because nothing says “I care about the planet” like turning a car company into a cryptocurrency trader. But hey, that’s just how Musk rolls-no big deal.

Bitcoin to hit $1.33 million, Mow says

As for Mow’s other predictions for 2026, brace yourselves. He’s forecasting that Bitcoin will reach a whopping $1.33 million-because why not? We’ve seen stranger things in crypto. Mow also predicts that a country will launch Bitcoin bonds, Michael Saylor’s Bitcoin-focused company will see its stock price shoot up to $5,000, and that Bitcoin will finally outshine precious metals. Meanwhile, Bitcoin’s market performance has been about as consistent as a toddler on a sugar rush. Over the last few days, it dropped to $65,000 but managed to claw its way back to $67,900. As of now, it’s hovering around $66,890, as the Middle East decides to escalate tensions even further. In crypto, you’ve got to love the volatility.
