Bitmine Immersion Technologies, headed by Tom Lee, has significantly increased its Ethereum staking by adding around $508 million worth of the cryptocurrency, according to data from Arkham Intelligence. The company now has over 4 million ETH staked – worth almost $9.3 billion – which represents about 10.5% of all Ethereum currently being staked. This move locks up a large amount of ETH, decreasing the amount available on the market while also earning rewards, and makes Bitmine a key player in the Ethereum network.
