Oh, the irony! Strategy, the Bitcoin hoarder extraordinaire, decided to ghost Bitcoin last week. Yes, you heard that right. Michael Saylor’s brainchild was too busy flirting with bonds to even text Bitcoin back. Rude.
All this drama unfolded while stablecoin liquidity took a nosedive ($687M, ouch!) and DEX volumes were like, “Yeah, no, we’re good.”
May 18-May 24, 2026 #LookonchainWeeklyReport
🟢 Overview
Stablecoins: “BRB, need a nap.” DEX volumes: “Same.” But hey, four companies were like, “Bitcoin, you’re still hot.”🟢 Stablecoin Market

And get this-Strategy didn’t just ignore Bitcoin; they went full-on “we’re repurchasing $1.5B in convertible notes” corporate speak. Michael Saylor tweeted about bonds like they’re the new Bitcoin. Spoiler: they’re not.
But let’s not forget, Strategy still holds the crown for the largest Bitcoin treasury-843,738 BTC, or $65B. That’s more money than my therapist charges per session. Kidding. Maybe.
So, one week of radio silence doesn’t mean Strategy’s breaking up with Bitcoin. They were just… busy. With debt. And capital management. Adulting is hard, okay?
BitMine’s ETH FOMO Takes a Nap
BitMine, the ETH enthusiast, also hit pause. After a wild spree of buying 5.2M ETH (yes, you read that right), they decided to chill. Tom Lee’s crew already staked 4.7M ETH-because why not live off staking rewards like a crypto retiree?
Remember when they bought 26,659 ETH in one week? Cute. That’s a slow day compared to their earlier 100k ETH benders. But hey, even Ethereum hoarders need a break.
Four Random Companies: “Bitcoin, We Got You”
While the big kids were napping, Strive, The Smarter Web Company PLC, DDC Enterprise Limited, and Hyperscale Data were like, “We’ll take it from here.” They bought 612 BTC, because why not? Now they’re sitting on 21,525 BTC, or $1.67B. Baller move.
Strive, in particular, was like, “Hold my SATA,” and raised enough cash to buy 537 BTC in a week. Smaller firms are proving that Bitcoin treasuries aren’t just a Strategy thing. It’s a whole mood.
Stablecoins: “We’re Fine, Just Tired”
Meanwhile, stablecoins were like, “Yeah, we’re down $687M, but we’ll live.” DEX volumes? Also napping. Bitcoin and Ethereum prices? Down, but who’s counting? ($76,559 and $2,089, respectively. I’m counting.)
So, there you have it. A week of crypto drama, pauses, and random companies saving the day. Will Strategy and BitMine wake up next week? Stay tuned. Same crypto circus, different clowns.
