With Bitcoin prices remaining steady, Michael Saylor is directing investors’ attention to a new investment option: perpetual preferred shares called Stretch (ticker: STRC). As Chairman of Strategy, he recently highlighted that STRC can offer stability during volatile market conditions.
Saylor’s solution to Bitcoin market turmoil
Michael Saylor highlights unusually stable conditions for STRC. He points out that over the last month, its volatility has been only 2%, making it more stable than any company in the S&P 500, and even more stable than traditional safe havens like gold, bonds, and Bitcoin.

In the last month, $STRC stock has been remarkably stable, experiencing less price fluctuation than any other company in the S&P 500 or other major investments. Plus, it currently offers a dividend yield of 11.5%.

Strategic Transaction Resources (STRC) is now the main way the company gets funding, and Saylor is using that money to buy more Bitcoin whenever the price drops. He’s still determined to have 1 million Bitcoin on the company’s books, aiming for either the end of 2026 or within the next two years.
While Bitcoin currently seems a bit risky, STRC – a digital credit offered by Strategy – provides higher-than-usual returns with a level of risk similar to keeping money in a bank. However, remember the basic principle of investing: greater potential rewards usually come with greater risk.
