The Tom Lee-led former Bitcoin mining enterprise, now a self-proclaimed Ethereum enthusiast, has been hoarding ETH like a dragon with a gold coin obsession, snapping up 60,976 coins for a tidy $123 million. One might say they’re investing in the future-or just chasing a mirage with a calculator.
Now, their Ethereum stash totals a staggering 4,535,563 coins, worth a nifty $9 billion. But here’s the kicker: their average entry price per coin is still over $3,700, meaning they’re sitting on losses so vast, they could fund a small country’s infrastructure for a decade. A true patriot, that Tom Lee.
Beyond their Ethereum empire, the company also owns 195 BTC, a $200 million stake in Beast Industries (which, one assumes, is a tech startup and not a literal beast), a $14 million bet on Eightco Holdings, and $1.2 billion in cash. A man of many hats-and many bets.
“Ethereum prices showed resilience this week, which is more than can be said for the stock market’s ability to keep up with the pace of a sloth on a treadmill,” said Lee, ever the optimist. “We’re in the late/final stages of the ‘mini-crypto winter,’ per our advisor, Tom DeMark, who’s probably just as confused as the rest of us.”
According to DeMark, ETH’s 2026 trajectory mirrors the S&P 500’s 2011 and 1987 antics. “If these analogs hold,” Lee added, “ETH will bottom out below $1,750. Or, as I like to call it, ‘the point where even your grandma’s crypto portfolio cries.’”
Lee’s team plans to keep buying ETH, because nothing says “confidence” like doubling down on a losing bet. Meanwhile, ETH has rebounded after Middle East drama, now hovering near $2,000. But don’t get excited-its last breakout attempt hit a wall at $2,200, and it’s been stuck there like a stubborn mule ever since.
