They say a thing happens, a change comes. And now, it seems, the Nasdaq is about to let loose with the first real, honest-to-goodness XRP ETF. The Canary XRP ETF (XRPC), they call it. A fancy name for a gamble, some might say.

XRP Getting a Second Look?

Folks been waitin’ on this one. Years, they have. Now, the Nasdaq’s lookin’ to list this here XRP exchange-traded fund, the Canary XRP ETF (ticker: XRPC), come November the 13th. Seems like everyone wants a piece of the digital pie now, alongside Bitcoin, Ethereum, and that Solana thing. Makes a fella wonder what all the fuss is about. 🤷‍♂️

“Listing notice arrived,” says that fella Balchunas from Bloomberg. Sounds official enough. The form 8-A’s been filed, see? All legal and proper. Like puttin’ a fence around a runaway dog.

Now, this Canary fund, it’s keepin’ things simple. Just XRP, nothin’ fancy. No levers, no borrowin’, nothin’ but the asset itself. They’re trackin’ a price from Coindesk, somethin’ about a New York Rate. Sounds important to somebody. 🙄

Folks are gettin’ all worked up, talkin’ ’bout how far XRP’s come. That Terrett woman, she’s explainin’ the difference ‘tween this Canary thing and another one, the Rex Osprey. Seems the Canary one is pure, while the other’s a bit mixed up, like a bowl of leftovers. And they got big companies holdin’ the XRP…Gemini and Bitgo. Keepin’ it safe, they say. Like money in a bank, only digital. 💰

They reckon this’ll get more folks investin’, bring in the big boys, and get this whole digital money thing more accepted. Maybe. Or maybe it’s just another bubble waitin’ to burst. Time will tell.
